Want more traffic to your blog? Every time you post, let blog directories know by pinging your website. Simply submit your url and you automatically let a number of popular blog directories know you’ve updated your content.

This week, the blogsphere was buzzing about how Martin Schwimmer asked Bloglines to remove his feed from their online newsreader because he didn’t want advertisements for competing firms around his content. Scobleizer picked it up and followed the discussion here, here and here. Martin followed up here.
How to Reduce Comment Spam
There are a number of tags that you can stick in your webpage code to block search engine bots from visiting your website. The latest is the NoFollow tag introduced Tuesday by Google. Small Business Talk blogger, Michael Cage and Nick W from Threadwatch discuss why this solution may not be the best.
