One of the easiest ways to get started blogging is to set up your blog with Blogger.com. In about 5 minutes, you’ll be up and running – no html or graphic design knowledge necessary. In this article, I’ll walk you through the steps.
Step 1: Go to Blogger.com
On the Blogger.com homepage, you’ll see a box that says “Create a blog in 3 easy steps” along with an orange arrow that says “create your blog now.” Click on the arrow.

Step 2: Choose a Display Name for your Blog
Choose a display name for your blog. This is the name you’ll see when you log into Blogger.com and choose to edit your blog. Since Blogger allows you to have multiple blogs on one account, this is how you’ll identify one from the other. Make sure to check that you agree with the Terms of Service and click the “continue” arrow.

Step 3: Give Your Blog a Title and Check the Availability of the Blog URL
In this step, you give your blog a title and decide on the url.
Your url is how other people find you. Since, in this example, your blog will be hosted by Blogger.com’s web servers, the blog url will always be
http://YOUR-BLOG-NAME.blogspot.com.

In my example above, I’ve chosen “realtybizsuccess” as my display name. After I set up my blog, my blog url will become http://realtybizsuccess.blogspot.com.
Make sure to click “Check Availability” to ensure that your name hasn’t been taken. If it has, Blogger will provide you with alternative names, or you can come up with a different one.
Click the “continue” arrow when you’re ready to move on.
Step 4: Choose a Template

Blogger offers a number of design templates that you can choose from. Simply click the one you like best and then the “continue” arrow.
Step 5: Your Blog Is Created!

That’s it! You now have your own blog and can begin posting immediately. Click the “start posting” arrow to create your first post.
Step 6: Start Posting
Posting on Blogger.com is just as easy. Once you click the “start posting” arrow, you’ll be taken to a form with a Title field and a larger Post field. Just add a title, write your post text, and click “publish.”

Step 7: View Your First Post
You’ll be taken to a confirmation screen that says “Your blog post published successfully! View blog.”

Click the “view blog” link to see your first post published on your new blog!

It’s as easy as that! Don’t let fear of a new technology keep you offline. The best thing about blogging is that it requires very little technical know-how. As long as you can submit a form, you can blog.
